"Run, don't walk, AWAY from the service center at this location. I'm stunned at how little they knew about fixing a keyboard on a Dell laptop. \n\nIt took them a week to misdiagnose the problem. Then I took it back to them again and they decided it would take another week to totally replace to keyboard. \n\nNot wanting to wait another week, I went to Geek Squad. They looked at the computer, typed in a solution to fix an apparently "well known" glitch in Windows and solved my keyboard issues. Took two minutes and they didn't even charge me. GEEK SQUAD ROCKS!!!"

"Perhaps a sign of time times, but brick and mortar electronics parts stores in general have gone out of business where one is left buying from Mouser, DIgikey or perhaps Amazon. But there are times when you need a component or two and shipping costs more than the part(s). Or you need it now. Chester Electronics is the goto in these cases even if you have to drive an hour from say the Chicago or Milwaukee areas.\n\nThat said while I wanted to brows through the store to get an understanding of the selection, one of the owners gave me the evil eye watching like a hawk. In the end I asked for what I wanted, was shown to a shelf and picked out a part paying at the counter. To be blunt I still don't know what I might have found if I didn't feel so uncomfortable with the reception. Perhaps I should have asked for an escort. Take away, if you are looking for something specific ask when you walk in the door. It will save time and you are on the way avoiding an uncomfortable situation for everyone.\n\nNotable is that there are pictures on the web, as well as a YouTube video from a few years ago. The organization of the store has changed thus what you see today is not representative of what was shown in the past. Bad? No, just different. Clearly a lot of what was visible in the past is now behind the counter, which brings the discussion back to ask given there is more than is on display.\n\nWould I return? I think the answer is yes, but the day after I realized I didn't get everything I needed and ugh I ordered what I missed off of Amazon for next day delivery."

Hi everybody, I am not too much familiar with HW stuff and a little more than newbi on SW. I would like to use this ESP32C3 supermini board. For the pinout I found some different versions on the web and I wonder which one is the real one? My second question is: I want to use just 3 simple digital output signals to drive stepper motors, 5 digital inputs for switches and pulse buttons and the ...
Works with many different ultrasonic sensor models: SR04, SRF05, SRF06, DYP-ME007 & Parallax PING)))™. Option to interface with all but the SRF06 sensor using only one Arduino pin. Doesn't lag for a full second if no ping echo is received like all other ultrasonic libraries. Ping sensors consistently and reliably at up to 30 times per second. Compatible with the entire Arduino line-up (and ...
Fortunately the amazing Arduino community picked up the slack by providing well maintained unofficial support software. The current recommendation is to use the excellent ATTinyCore boards platform, which has DigiSpark support.
Please don't hijack threads @araa-araaa. I have split your post out to its own topic. Hijacking is against the Arduino forum rules. The reason is that it may sidetrack the discussion, even preventing the creator of the topic from getting the assistance they need. It also reduces your own chances of getting assistance. This is basic forum etiquette, as explained in the "How to get the best out ...
Many times people ask questions about how to fix their LCDs that don't display or displays wrong/random stuff. The following information, when supplied with your thread, will get your problem solved the quickest way. Fixing these problems ends up being mostly a frustrating experience unless the following are provided upfront without any "BUT"s. I believe several other helpers here would agree ...
Disconnect the USB cable of the Arduino board from your computer. Select Tools > Port from the Arduino IDE menus. Take note of the ports, if any, listed in the menu. Close the Tools menu. The ports list is only updated when the Tools menu is re-opened, so this step is essential. Connect the Arduino board to your computer with a USB cable. Select Tools > Port from the Arduino IDE menus. - If a ...
The simplest way would be to use a program such as puTTY in place of the Arduino Serial Monitor. puTTY can save data into a file. You could also write a program on your PC to receive the data and save it into a file. This Python - Arduino demo should provide some ideas - it would need to be extended a little to save the data into a file. You could do the same sort of thing with Processing ...
I have the same error, when I was testing it I found that it was the bluetooth module, for some reason if it is to the current to program my Arduino gave me that error, my solution was to program the Arduino UNO without a connected module and it worked.
